This policy explains what personal information SAQDEV Technologies collects, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what rights you have over it. It applies to our website, our client portal and the platforms we operate on behalf of clients where we act as a processor.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to you and to deliver contracted work. We do not buy personal data from third parties and we do not build advertising profiles.
- Contact details you submit through our enquiry and discovery call forms — name, work email, phone number, company and country.
- Project context you choose to share, including the description of your requirements and any documents you send us.
- Account information for client portal users — name, email, role and the company they belong to.
- Technical information generated when you use our services — IP address, browser type, device type and pages visited.
- Records of your interactions with us: meetings, support tickets, invoices and correspondence.
How we use it
We process personal information for a limited set of purposes, each tied to either performing a contract with you, pursuing our legitimate interest in operating the business, or consent you have given.
- Responding to enquiries and arranging discovery calls.
- Delivering, supporting and improving the software we build for you.
- Issuing invoices and managing payments.
- Providing access to the client portal and keeping project status current.
- Meeting our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
- Sending our newsletter, where you have subscribed. You can unsubscribe from any issue.
Legal bases
Where the GDPR or comparable legislation applies, we rely on: performance of a contract for delivery and support activity; legitimate interests for responding to enquiries, securing our systems and improving our services; consent for marketing communications; and legal obligation for financial record keeping.
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have assessed that our interest does not override your rights. You may object to that processing at any time.
International transfers
We deliver to clients in India, the UAE, the UK, the US, Singapore and Australia, so information may be processed outside your country of residence. Where information leaves a jurisdiction with data transfer restrictions, we rely on appropriate safeguards including standard contractual clauses.
Retention
We keep personal information only as long as it serves the purpose it was collected for, or as long as the law requires.
- Enquiries that do not become engagements: 24 months.
- Client records and project documentation: for the duration of the engagement plus 7 years, to satisfy contractual and tax obligations.
- Financial records: 8 years, as required by applicable accounting rules.
- Security and audit logs: 24 months.
- Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe.
Security
We apply role-based access control, encryption in transit and at rest, immutable audit logging, multi-factor authentication for privileged accounts, and regular dependency and vulnerability review. Access to client data is restricted to team members working on that engagement.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you and the relevant supervisory authority within the timeframes the law requires.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights. We will respond to any request within 30 days and will not charge you for exercising them.
- Access — obtain a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Rectification — have inaccurate information corrected.
- Erasure — have information deleted where we have no continuing lawful basis to keep it.
- Restriction — limit how we process your information while a dispute is resolved.
- Portability — receive your information in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests, including direct marketing.
- Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time.
Children
Our services are directed at businesses and are not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes and contact
If we change this policy materially we will update the date at the top and, where the change affects you significantly, notify you directly.
